Shared services involve centralising the administrative functions of an organisation. It is an operational philosophy that can be applied to financial services, HR and IT amongst others. Benefits of shared services include significant cost savings, standardisation and economies of scale. Hence it is no surprise they are becoming increasingly popular in today’s business world.

Whilst implementing shared services can help you cut costs, you can improve your bottom line by outsourcing shared services. Companies trying to implement internal shared services often struggle to create efficient shared services. Often, the cost of implementation, capital and restructuring can be significant. Outsourcing shared services is a budget-friendly way to improve productivity and create a smooth transition.
